Dr Joseph Pantaleo was born and raised in Whitestone, New York. From as early as he can remember, he has wanted to be a dentist. In fact, he vividly remembers one childhood trip to the Museum of Natural History in New York City where he was enthralled with the enormous teeth of the towering T-Rex!
Dr. Pantaleo attended St. Francis College in Brooklyn Heights, New York where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with duel degrees in Biology and English, earning him placement as an Honors Program Scholar. He went directly to NYU College of Dentistry to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery, continuing to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center for his residency training program. In addition to founding Tomorrow’s Smile Today and treating his patients in his private practice in Smithtown, New York, he also serves as a member of the Alumni Board for his alma matter, St. Francis Preparatory School in Queen, New York and as a regular volunteer, mentor and educator with numerous efforts throughout New York City and the United States.
When he is not teaching and lecturing at the Mount Sinai Dental Residency Program, you can find Dr. Pantaleo on the race track where he holds a license with the BMW CCA Club Racing and on the water fishing, hiking and enjoying a true work life balance.
